Warranties & Returns

GUARANTEE:

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order. To do so you must inform us in writing within 7 days from the day after receipt of your order by emailing info@scarlettools.co.uk. Upon receipt of your cancellation request we will issue a Returns Number. This number will need to be clearly labelled on the outer packaging above our returns address;

We must receive all items in their unopened original packaging with all additional parts/accessories included and untouched. We do ask that you take appropriate measures to ensure the items are delivered back to us within 5 working days from receipt of your Returns Number. We recommend using a recorded delivery service and requesting a proof of postage. Once received we will process a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot refund any delivery charges on your original order or reimburse the costs for the items returned.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS:

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective please contact us as soon as possible preferably within 14 days of delivery. We will then issue a Returns Number. This number will need to be clearly labelled on the outer packaging above our returns address;

Note**We will ask that you provide as much detail as possible on the defect or damage and may request photographic evidence to help speed up the process once returned.

After the initial 14 days you will no longer be covered under the above sale guarantee, instead you will have entered the warranty period.

Warranties will vary between different manufacturers and may require proof of purchase prior to any support or assistance. We do ask that you report any faults to us in the first instance. We will then be able to advise the best course of action and provide any contact details for manufacturer helplines or directly arrange for a warranty repair or replacement.

We will either replace the goods free of charge or refund to you the price of the goods as required. Simply return the goods to us with a proof of purchase.
